Raymond Fortun agrees to represent Cedric Lee

Businessman Cedric Lee has a new legal counsel.

High-profile lawyer Raymond Fortun has agreed to represent Lee he said in an announcement he posted on his Facebook account.

Lee, together with several persons brought actor-host Vhong Navarro to a precinct, bound and severely injured due to a beating. His group claimed that Navarro attempted to rape Deniece Cornejo.

Fortun said he views Lee as an underdog. Justice must be served, he added.

“I love the underdog... I enjoy the good fight, and I relish handling the toughest cases. Lawyering for me has never been about the money. It's about the pursuit for truth and justice, it's about fairness and equality,” Fortun’s Facebook status message read.

Fortun has represented the likes of Kris Aquino, Willie Revillame, and Dr. Vicki Belo. He currently represented Marianne Cayton, the owner of the Two Serendra unit that identified as the the origin of the blast that killed three people last year.
